React Native Software Engineer
React Native Developer (Expo + Modern Web Frameworks)
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented React Native developer to join our mobile development team. In this role, you'll build and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native with Expo. You’ll work closely with our backend and product teams to deliver smooth, performant, and feature-rich experiences across iOS and Android.
This position is fully remote, but the team member must be available to work U.S. business hours. Recruiters, please do not contact us in relation to this position.
React Native Developer Responsibilities:
- Building mobile apps using React Native with heavy use of the Expo platform
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Ensuring app performance, usability, and responsiveness across multiple devices
- Debugging, testing, and deploying mobile applications
- Contributing to continuous improvement of code quality and development processes
- Maintaining a strong attention to detail, especially in UI/UX implementation and code consistency
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile development with React Native
- Solid hands-on experience with Expo (managed and/or bare workflow)
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and mobile UI patterns
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
- Experience using Git and working in agile development environments
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in English
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Next.js and/or SvelteKit
- Understanding of app store deployment (iOS & Android) using Expo
- Familiarity with performance optimization and native module integration
